Finding Hope

Welcome to Finding Hope, where the beginning of the end is near. Twolegs are becoming less of them, no cat understands why--but no one is complaining. But even though just as little as twolegs are being found, a strange plague of the cats has already eaten one cat. She was a Queen, her name was Squirrelstep and she was still pregnant as well. It began in ShadowClan and has now spread to all four Clans. It isn't exactly whitecough, and the Medicine Cats have tried to speak with StarClan but they have returned empty-handed. If you have read this the passcode is immortality. Living through these difficult times, the question is how to stop this deadly disease. Cats were spreading it on the night of a full moon during a gathering, sharing tongues was the exact cause. 

"They looked like they're fading..." mentioned one cat, and then suddenly the stars were gone.  "...And now they have disappeared." 

To join the Clan, you are infected or not. No cat knows this, but before StarClan has left they have blessed eight cats to be immune to this disease and to defeat whatever has been killing these cats. These blessed cats have a gift. A gift of imortality until StarClan has returned. But, they cannot leave the forest, and must achieve this goal for them to become mortal.
